Kundalini Yoga Classes
Kundalini yoga is spiritual practice and a form of yoga that combines breathing exercises, mantra, and movement. It aims to activate the Kundalini energy, or shakti, a spiritual energy that is said to be located at the base of the spine.
The health benefits of Kundalini yoga
From personal experience we feel that the benefits are vast. But what does the science show us? Kundalini yoga has a number of science-backed benefits which include:
Stress and anxiety relief (2017 study).
Improved cognitive functioning (2018 study).
Improved body positivity and self-acceptance (small 2017 qualitative study).
Also, as your practice increases you tend to become more connected with yourself and others and as a result you may experience some or all of the following benefits, increased empathy, increased creativity, improved charisma, increased energy and greater internal peace.
